City of Braidwood Comprehensive Plan

This plan was developed over a seventeen month period by residents of Braidwood to assist the City Council in developing strategies for the future planning of the City for the coming years.

The Planning Commission is charged with initial review and making recommendations to the City Council on all matters relating to zoning administration, rezoning applications zoning enforcement , subdivision reviews and recommendations, and periodic review of the City's Comprehensive Plan.

The Planning Commission meets on the first Monday of each month, at 7:00 p.m. in the municipal building meeting room. Requests to be on the Planning Commission agenda may be made to the Secretary of the Planning and Zoning Committee's office at 815-458-2333 extension 208.
